Obama and his cult are just another example that we as a race never learn from the past. The same pattern seems to pop up again and again. We will follow a charismatic leader into the abyss, just as the people of Germany did last century. The worst part is that the leader thinks that he is doing the right thing. The man offers vague promises of hope and change and people will flock to him because it feels good to be part of a group, and not to have to think, or reason for themselves.
No matter how educated someone is, we all still have the same behavior. We fly to the light of promises of hope like gnats because it feels good at the time. Only to later realize that the hope that we were promised was just hope and nothing else.
Fortunately this will come to pass and a few brave souls will venture out and create a new culture of personal responsibility. This culture will work for a while, but it too will collapse, and start the cycle again.
