Obama and the Radical Left

While you may understand the workings of the radical left, few of your friends and neighbors truly understand the anti-American agenda the radical left is promoting. While some of the radical leftists of the 1960’s have repented their anti-Americanism and have come to see how great and generous our country is, many of the radical left never grew up. Instead, they ran for local and eventually national elective office and entrenched themselves in our colleges and universities as administrators and professors and began teaching what can only be described as a “hate America first” philosophy.
Now we’re seeing the seeds they sown for the four-plus decades start to bear fruit with the radical transformation advanced by our new President and the far left leadership of Congress.
Today we face a grave threat to our way of life: a threat to the concept of individual liberty, equal justice under the law, and equal opportunity. What Barack Obama is doing is unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. This isn’t like living through four years of Jimmy Carter, or even eight years of Bill Clinton. Massive federal government control over business, banking, the auto industry, health care, and even our personal lives to a degree few Americans ever thought would be possible in this country is something totally new.
And yet it is happening right before our eyes, with the enthusiastic cheerleading of the mainstream media. If we don’t stop it today, the transformation will be irreversible. In the short time Barack Obama has been in office and worked hand-in-hand with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Leader Harry Reid, and arch-leftist like Henry Waxman, Barbara Boxer and others, we’ve witnessed nothing less than the start of a sea change that will soon see us transformed into a socialist, Big Government-dominated state.
We have already witnessed: the appointment of 34 “Czars” that answer only to the White House, outside of Congressional oversight, outside of Constitutional restrictions, including:
--A “Green Jobs” Czar who can dictate what companies will get bailout money if they become “green.”
--An “Urban” Czar overseeing billions for select urban stimulus projects.
--A National Science Czar who is an outspoken supporter of eugenics.
--An auto industry Czar who has no experience in the automobile industry but who ran the restructuring of GM and Chrysler, essentially turning them over to union ownership.
The virtual takeover of our banking system. Last May, the Obama Administration converted “bailout” loans into common stock shares, making the government a huge voting stockholder in some of the America’s largest, most powerful banks – including the Bank of America and Citibank.
An attempt to take over our nation’s healthcare system. Combined with the bank and auto industry takeovers, if the Obama healthcare plan becomes law, the government will control nearly 25% of the nation’s economy!
The Executive Branch demanded that CEOs and presidents of private companies to step down before federal help would be offered to their respective companies. Is this creeping socialism or what?
The creation of nothing less than an enemies list! The White House has actually asked left-wing Americans to notify them if they see someone or something spreading misinformation about their agenda. These are the same folks who have difficulty in recognizing the truth when they see it.
Staged press conferences and so-called open town hall meetings where attendees are screened and, in many cases, prepped with questions supporting White House proposals. This straight from Vladimir Lenin’s handbook!
This is, of course, what I have been saying all along. Opposition to Obama has nothing to do with his bi-racial background but a lot to do about his left wing plan for America. Claims that racism is the cause of that opposition are utterly and completely wrong.
What we are witnessing today is not just a silver-tongued orator at work but the takeover of our country by a left hostile to its values and traditions. We must all stand in front of this Obama/Alinsky radical juggernaut and allow it to transform America from the freest country on earth into a dreary experiment in leftism that punishes innovation and initiative, imprisons us in bureaucracy, and rations individual liberty. This is not the future Americans want for their children and grandchildren.
Barack Obama and the radical left combine like the Hydra from ancient mythology. Their agenda is multi-faceted but their goal is singular – the radical transformation of America.
