38th Reason Why Obama Should be Impeached or NOT Re-elected

Obama's 'Conduct Unbecoming'

President Bill Clinton’s Senior Military Aide Robert “Buzz” Patterson tells Newsmax that a fundraiser and “close acquaintance” of Barack Obama should be prosecuted for treason for aiding America’s enemies.

Patterson, a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and best-selling author, also says morale among American forces in Afghanistan is poor and the troops have “absolutely no faith” in their commander-in-chief Obama’s intention of winning the war.

Patterson’s latest book is “Conduct Unbecoming: How Barack Obama Is Destroying the Military and Endangering Our Security.” In an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV, he was asked why he believes Obama is damaging the military.

“He’s trying to change the military culture,” Patterson says.

“A perfect example is they’re trying to push through repeal of the don’t ask, don’t tell policy, which right now prohibits open homosexuality in the uniformed services.

“He’s trying to remake the military culture much in his own image, much in the image of the radicals he associates himself with.

“I’m very fearful of that. I think the repercussions are going to be wide and large. I think you’re going to see a lot of really talented people leave the military. In fact, one of the surveys I quote in my book concludes that up to 25 percent of our uniformed services members may leave if this act is repealed.

“The problem is that [repeal] tries to socially engineer the military at a time when we’re fighting a war. You’re going to have a lot of folks who’ll leave the service — they’ll vote with their feet by actually leaving — because they don’t want to put up with all the issues and problems.

“I ask the question: Do we really want to go through all this right now?”

Patterson notes that when Obama was running for president, he made Jodie Evans his key fundraiser in California. Evans is co-founder of the radical anti-military group CODEPINK, which raised more than $600,000 for the insurgents fighting U.S. soldiers in Iraq. Paterson was asked if that rises to the level of treason.
“It most definitely does,” he responds.

“Jodie Evans not only raised that money for CODEPINK, but she delivered that money personally to the insurgents who were fighting and killing U.S. Marines in 2005. And Obama did use her as a fundraiser. In fact, she has been a personal guest at the Obama White House since his election, so she’s not just somebody he used as a fundraiser, she is a close acquaintance and she is in my opinion a traitor.

“The reason she has not been prosecuted to date, I believe, is she has gotten a pass, much like Obama has, from the mainstream media.”

President Obama has no real intention of winning the war in Afghanistan, Patterson states.

“Obama won’t even use the word ‘victory.’ The man can’t even utter the fact that we’re fighting against radical fundamentalist Islam. He can’t even identify the enemy. How do you defeat an enemy if you can’t identify him?”
Afghanistan “is going to become another Vietnam if we’re not careful,” he adds.

Asked about the morale of American troops in Afghanistan, Patterson tells Newsmax: “The morale is not doing well. They understand quite clearly that their commander-in-chief is not looking out for their best welfare, that their commander-in-chief is not dedicated to winning the war in Afghanistan or giving them the tools necessary to win, and the morale is suffering.

“The guys in uniform right now have absolutely no faith in Barack Obama.”

  1. The Constitution of the United States, Art. III, defines treason against the United States to consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid or comfort. This offence is punished with death. By the same article of the Constitution, no person shall be convicted of treason, unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.
